Living a life of freedom – mindful musings

Mindfulness really has changed my life.

In fact its changed my whole existence. It’s had such a profound impact on the way that my life functions – home life, relationships, food, moving my body, to the way I now feel, and by that I mean the feeling of entire body and my energy centres.

I deeply feel my responses to life, which is something I’ve never done before.

I wonder what might have been if I hadn’t found mindfulness last year, through a particularly tragic time in our lives, and how profoundly different that loss may have impacted my life without it. It isn’t easy, but it’s easier to bear with my learnings.

And, I want to share this with more. I want others to feel connected. To themselves. To others. To their thoughts. Their beliefs. Their patterns. Their reasons.

I want to learn to live a life where I am free. Free from constraints. Societal pressures. Any type of pressures. That’s not being unrealistic, that’s me listening. Totally listening. We have one shot at this.

The only thing I can control on my life is my thoughts and my feelings.

And that has such a profound impact on me.

I allow the passing of energy to run through me. I allow myself to feel, and then to let go. I have learnt so much about how my mind function in the last 6 months, and I have a much better knowing of myself.

On that note, I am signing off to sit quietly and listen deeply to the thought patterns of my day.
